Title (what do you do in D-Orbit): Head of Sales - Institutional Business / Party Manager

What did it mean to you to work on this project over the past two years?

When I was a kid fantasizing about space and stars, if I would have been told that as a grown up I would have worked to built and launch a satellite, I would have seen that as a dream. That's what working on D-SAT has been: a kid's dream become true. The fact that D-Sat is the first of a new generation of sustainable satellites, made it all the more special.

What was the most challenging aspect and what did you enjoy most?

The most challenging aspect has been building a strong, homogeneous and unified Team from scratch. A Team that was hardworking, resilient to difficulties and supportive of one another. It took a long time to find the right persons, mold them and put together such a Team. But, at the end of the day, that has been the most enjoyable outcome of the project: we will stick together well past the end of the D-SAT mission, ready to face to new challenges.
